45 days is a lot of days. I had planned most of what I wanted to cover ahead of time, but I’ve had to research some topics to help flesh out these last few remaining days. Today I ran across an interesting topic called Revenge Porn. Apparently it’s a big deal in the digital era, and Your’s Truly may actually be contributing to it.

Based on some quick research, I’ve been able to determine that revenge porn is a clever, albeit kinda fucked up way to get back at your ex. Ronnie and Tina are madly in love, taking naked pics of each other and making their own sextapes to enjoy later. But then they have a nasty breakup, and Ronnie, now in “fuck that bitch” mode, uploads those pictures and videos to the interwebs for the rest of the world to see, all without Tina’s permission.

That’s Revenge Porn in a nutshell. Since it can technically be considered a form of harassment and an invasion of privacy, lawmakers are pushing for legislation to make Revenge Porn a crime. Obviously this stuff is kinda hard to prove and even harder to stop. Even if a woman is able to get her nudes removed from one site or another, there’s no telling how many guys have downloaded them and continue to pass them around across social media, email, mobile phones, etc.

My take on Revenge Porn is quite simple. If you take naked pictures or record sextapes with your significant others, you have to realize that they could eventually be leaked. Most guys can’t hold water, and many of them will share that kinda stuff when the relationship is ongoing and everything is peachy. It’s sort of a macho, “look at my girl’s butthole” type of thing.

So instead of being all butthurt and devastated, maybe take pride in the fact that guys across the country (possibly the globe) view your naked body as inspirational fodder for fap sessions. Either that, or close your legs and keep the camera out of the bedroom. Just a suggestion.
