Horror, by nature, is pretty damn bonkers. I mean you got zombies, killer clowns from beyond the stars, and demons who just can’t be killed no matter how many pieces you chop their asses into. Still, there are some horror entries that go left considerably harder than others and the 1976 exploitation flick Island of Death is among them. This movie features a pair of lovers turned psychotic bible-thumping serial killers that make the iconic Mick and Mal look like Kermit and Ms. Piggy. It’s probably the craziest shit I’ve seen not named Chaos or Human Centipede. On top of that, it’s fuckin’ hilarious, which is always a good thing. I always liked excerpts because they give a small taste of what a story is about beyond the synopsis. But I have a hard time picking the right excerpts for my stories. I never wanna share too much or too little, or a part that might turn readers off.
